Education: BA-Secondary Ed/Spanish from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, NC.
MS-Education-Instructional Technology/Library Media from University of Nebraska-Kearney.
Bio: After graduating from UNC-CH, I lived in Costa Rica with a family to study and work while immersed in the Spanish culture. I began working in Beulah in 2004 as a Social Studies/Language Arts teacher where I also taught Spanish. This year I will be teaching 6th-8th Social Studies and Language Arts. I will also assist the other teachers in Environmental Ed.
General Info and Interests: I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina, worked summers in Colorado while I was in college and eventually moved to the Beulah area. I currently live on a ranch in the Wet Mountains with my family and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. I love to read, watch my daughters play sports, and occasionally trek to the city for theater and live entertainment.
